Perspective of $RSN

Resonator was publicly launched on October 10th, 2024. With a total supply of 100,000,000 $RSN, most are located in the Uniswap v2 liquidity pool, while the rest are locked for different purposes. More information is available in our Tokenomics: rsntr.io/tokenomics.


But what is $RSN itself? Why is it important and valuable? This article is created to shed light on these undeniably important.

$RSN Essence

$RSN is the native token of the Resonator Ecosystem (rsntr.io/ecosystem), serving as a fuel for growth, a container of value (a web3 analog of shares), and a payment unit. Simply put, the bigger Resonator becomes and the higher the demand for our products, the higher the value (also known as the “market price”) of the $RSN token.

$RSN as a Payment Unit

Currently, we have five products in our ecosystem: Private Storage, Escrow Service, Marketplace, Storage Rental Service, and LGT (yet to be revealed).


Once these services and products are polished and marketed, using or acquiring them will become a paid process. Payments can be made in various ways—stablecoins, $ETH, and, of course, $RSN— ensuring strong and sustainable demand, along with a significant revenue stream.

$RSN as a Revenue Stream Beneficiary

After extensive discussion, research, and analysis (with prominent community members involved), we explored many mechanisms for leveraging the revenue generated. Two key metrics guided us: long-term sustainability and efficiency.


We made the decision to pivot and revise our initial revenue-sharing strategy. We discovered that at certain levels, the traditional mechanism suppresses growth rather than bolstering it, taking power away from smaller holders while barely benefiting the largest holders.


With this in mind, we are proud to present the Resonator Revenue Sharing & Holders Incentivizing Strategy:

  • 70% of the revenue generated will be directed towards linear $RSN buybacks. Most ofthe tokens bought will be burned, although some may be used for explosive marketing.This ensures non-linear, highly effective benefits for all $RSN holders.

    To put it simply:

    Imagine $50,000 in profits distributed proportionally to the amount of tokens held. The largest holders with 1% of tokens would receive only $500, while smaller holders would receive almost nothing. At a certain price level, APY becomes irrelevant to the token value held, resulting in constant growth suppression. Now, imagine the same $50,000 profits used exclusively for buybacks, resulting in parabolic growth that benefits every holder.

    We chose the second scenario.
  • 30% of the revenue will be allocated to the team for sustaining and development funds, which is crucial after lowering the trading tax to 0 (check our strategy here:
    rsntr.io/roadmap).

$RSN Perspective and Vision

While Resonator is a product company with a mission to create the best user-oriented private storage solutions on the market, we recognize the importance of providing investors and the community with a sustainable growth plan, and more importantly, execution. The cornerstone of the revised plan is to stream a considerable part of our revenue directly into bolstering the token price.


Another long-term value of holding $RSN is voting power in our DAO. At a certain point, after most of our products are developed, the team will transition the company structure to a DAO- managed model, stepping down as managers and giving power back to prominent holders and community members.
